Tierarztpraxis Tierlieb
In autumn 2015, we were able to take over the long-established Westend practice of Dr. Teichert and Dr. von Schorlemer. Through extensive modernization and renovation work (including two separate waiting areas for cats and dogs, and two examination rooms), we have created a modern yet welcoming small animal practice in the heart of Westend. We are pleased to offer you veterinary medicine of a high professional standard and with excellent technical equipment in our small but well-equipped practice. At the same time, we place great importance on a trusting and personal relationship with pet owners and on providing loving and careful treatment for your animal – with us, no one is just a number!

How Often Should You Take Your Dog to the Vet?
Most dogs need regular vet visits based on their age. Puppies require frequent visits every 3–4 weeks for vaccinations, adult dogs should see the vet once a year for preventive care, and senior dogs need checkups every 6 months to catch age-related issues early. Dogs with health conditions may need more frequent monitoring. Staying consistent with these visits helps detect problems early, reduces long-term costs, and keeps your dog healthier for longer.
Signs your pet needs immediate veterinary care (2026 Emergency Guide)
