About

Petary started for a very simple reason. My dog needed help and I couldn’t easily find it.

One Sunday, my dog had an emergency. I assumed finding a vet that was open would be straightforward. It wasn’t.

I searched online, clicked through outdated websites, called numbers that didn’t answer, and second-guessed whether a clinic was actually open or handled emergencies at all. In a moment when time and clarity mattered, information was scattered and unreliable.

So I did what many people do in that situation. I started building my own list.

At first, Petary was just a personal directory a place where I could quickly see which vets were nearby, which ones were open, and where to go when something went wrong.

Then I realised something else.

Like many pet owners, I was also juggling: - vaccination records in emails and PDFs - appointment dates written down in different places - reminders that only existed in my head

I had missed appointments before. I’d discovered vaccinations had expired after the fact. There was no single, reliable place to keep everything up to date. Petary grew from that frustration.

Today, Petary is an independent veterinary directory, shared publicly so other pet owners don’t have to go through the same stress, especially in urgent moments. It’s designed to make finding veterinary care simpler, clearer, and more reliable. We will be going live Kiez by Kiez.

And longer term, the vision is bigger: a single, calm place where pet owners can keep track of their pets’ health, records, and reminders, without paperwork, guesswork, or missed dates.

Petary is still early. It’s a work in progress. But it’s built from a real need, for real people, and real pets.

If it helps you even once, it’s already worth it.

The clinic information on Petary is collected from publicly available sources such as clinic websites, online directories, and public business listings. Each entry is reviewed and checked manually before being published to ensure accuracy and relevance.
